He was predeceased by: his father James Allen, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Rose Smith (Hellemeyer) of East Alton; his significant other Kestchen Hampsey of East Alton; his children, Alexis (Eric Ruiz), Brooke Allen of Edwardsville and Parker Allen of Edwardsville; his grandchildren, Layla Ruiz and Arlo Ruiz; and his sisters, Robin Hardwick (Tim) of Pawnee, Susan Desch (Karl) of Houston, Deana Schenk (Keith) of Springfield, Betty Allen (Quinn Underwood) of Carthage and Anne Marie Jim of Conehatta. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
