With solemn reverence, we commemorate Helen Louise Russo (Wood River, Illinois), born in Alton, Illinois, whose life came to an end on March 3, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Johnston and Ruby Johnston (Trail); her husband James Michael Russo; and her sister Sharon Johnston. She is survived by: her daughters, Patti Holland (Pete Cardenas) of Wylie, TX, Penny Russo of Plainview and Paula Bailey (James, Jr.) of East Alton; her grandchildren, Steven Russo, Rachel Holland, Megan Bailey, Kaitlyn Russo and Lindsey Bailey; her great grandchildren, Sophia, Trenton and Alloura Russo; and her brothers, Gary Johnston of Carlinville and Randy Johnston of Plainview.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Marks Mortuary (633 E Lorena Ave, Wood River, IL 62095). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
