She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Edward Hancock and Madge Irene Hancock (McDonald); her spouse Marion DeWayne Griffin; her grandson Joshua Sheldon; and her siblings, Lewis, Donald Hancock, Alice Russell, Norma Sauls, Edna Bryant and Mary Sue Hancock.
She is survived by: her daughters, Velda Martin (George) of Bethalto, Robbin Butler (George) of Moro, Irma Grant (John) of Godfrey, Martha Sheldon and Barb Tucker; her grandchildren, Trevor Martin (Maribeth), Trisha Martin (Steven Yates, Jr.), Adina VanOs (Joel), Allison Smith (Zachary) and Jeremy Wenzel (Stacey); her great grandchildren, Finn, Gavin Martin and Benjamin Yates; and her siblings, Richard Hancock of Woodburn, Estell Tedrick of Woodburn and Brenda Mitchell of Jerseyville.
In lieu of flowers the family will be accepting memorials to be given to the First Baptist Church in Wood River.
