Frances G. Steward Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 11, 2020, at the age of 84, Frances G. Steward (Wood River, Illinois), born in Brighton, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Caffery and Ruth Caffery (Mellenthin); her husband Louis C. Steward, Sr.; her son Larry Joe; her sister Betty Arbuthnot; and her half-sister Delois McDonough.
She is survived by: her sons, Louis "Chuck" (Sharon Steward) and Terry (Angel Steward); her grandchildren, Kenneth (Annette Steward), Keith (Amy Steward), Korey (Kim Steward), Kyle (Megan Steward) and Kayla (Dan Friedel); her great grandchildren, Jacob Steward, Avery Steward, Kendyll Steward, Parker Steward and Tanner Steward; her siblings, Mary Barks of Wood River and James; and her sister-in-law Pat Caffery of Godfrey. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
Due to the current Covid – 19 restrictions, private services will be held with burial at Upper Alton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Alton Salvation Army Red Kettle Fund.
