It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Crain (Wood River, Illinois), born in Mount Vernon, Illinois, who passed away on October 8, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Denzel M. Conner and Dortha L. Conner (Griffen); her former husband William Crain; and her brothers, Robert, Denzel and Richard.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan; her son-in-law James Garrison of Staunton; her son William Crain, Jr.; her grandchildren, Cheyenne Crain (Zach Pruden), Caleb Crain, Stephen Warren III, Savannah Warren and Olivia Crain; her great grandchildren, Payton Chapman and Dylan Pruden of Staunton; and her siblings, Deliah (Larry Reams), Alice (Kenny Hellrung), Neva (Marvin Wells), Glenda (Gordon Brewer), Elsie Vinson, Harold (Marry Conner) and Gerald (Debbie Conner). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
Due to the current CDC guidelines, face masks will be required.
