With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elnora Summers of Wood River, Illinois, born in Bernie, Missouri, who passed away on December 6, 2023 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Hollis and Grace Hollis (Becker); her spouse Therman L. Summers; her daughter Barb George; her son-in-law Mickey George; her grandson Billy George; and her sisters, Florine Riley, Christine Thompson and Mary Dean.
She is survived by: her sons, Jim Summers of Cottage Hills and Larry Summers (Sondra) of Wood River; and her grandchildren, Kenny George, Tim Summers (Corey), Kim Outham (Mike), Mike Summers, Chris Summers (Wendy), Bev Klein (Bobby) and Melody Green (Steve). She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to East Alton Assembly of God Church.
