He was predeceased by: his parents, James Vincent and Shirley Myrlee Hale (Elliott); his daughter Stephanie Josephine Hale; his great grandchild Clementine Hale; his brothers, James Hale, Robert Hale and William Hale; and his brother-in-law Johnny Oros.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Oros; his brother Don Mitchell of Wood River; his siblings-in-law, Larry Oros (Liz) of Apple Valley, CA and Missy Miller of Roxana; his children, Doyle Everett Hale (Cheryl) of Edwardsville, Scott H. Hale (Lisa) of Edwardsville, William Hale (Crystal) of Joplin, MO, Dezina Myrlee Trumulty (Jim) of Bethalto and Julie Cole-Bartholomew (Toni) of Roxana; his grandchildren, Justin Hale, Phillip Hale (Beth), Matthew Hale (Bekah), Jacob Snyder (Hailey), Jordan Snyder (Kassy), Nikki Cole, Ashlyn Cole, Payton Montgomery, Dawson Dunse, Teresa Webster, Aislinn Bonney, Joshua Mullikin (Lauren) and Glenn Kotkiewicz; and his great grandchildren, Patrick Hale, Isabella Snyder, Evelyn Hale, Clara Mullikin and June Mullikin.
