Johnson and Lela Taylor Johnson (Spurgan); his daughters, Helen Ireland and Jo Pfeiffer; his grandchildren, Jossetta Ireland, Charles "Chip" Ireland and Amanda Wahl; and his siblings, Donald Johnson, D. J. Johnson, Dalton Johnson, Lavada Porter, Lavon Logston and Lavern Lipe.
He is survived by: his wife Zelda Wollenweber; and his children, Johnny Johnson (Carolyn) of Wood River, Dickson Wong of Wood River, Jeannette Jeffery of Columbia and Tammy Belt (Boyce) of Granite City. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren;a great-great grandchild; and his beloved dog.
