She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Boshkoff and Emma Boshkoff (Fudurich); her grandmother Friend; her husband Elmer Krome; her granddaughters, Cammie Stairs and Beth Truetzschler; and her great grandchild Natalie Simon.
She is survived by: her cousin Mary Skundrich Malone (Louis Rexing); her stepdaughter Judy Krome; her children, Charles Krome (Veronica) and Karen Stairs (Bob); her stepdaughter Judy Bond (Butch); her grandchildren, Amy Simon, Jerry Cicio (Tracy), Jarrid Stairs (Lori) and Christopher Anderson-Krome; her great grandchildren, David, Nathan, Carter, Audrey, Kourtney, Dominic of Colton, C. J. and Dacota; her great great grandchildren, Annie and Clara; and also Babe Oseland (Skundrich).
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Paynic Home For Funerals (618 E Airline Dr, East Alton, IL 62024). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Angels Catholic Church (345 E Acton Ave, Wood River, IL 62095).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul at Holy Angels, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Southern Illinois Hospice.
