It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David W. West (Wood River, Illinois), who passed away on August 28, 2023, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James West and Betty West (Shimchick); his brother Robert; and his pet Tucker. He is survived by: his former spouse Beverly Johnson; his daughter Lindsey West; his son-in-law Ben Hammond of Rosewood Heights; his son Nick; his daughter-in-law Danielle West of Rosewood Heights; his granddaughters, Joella and Parker Hammond; his siblings, Vicky (Mike Hammond), Patricia Hardimon of Alton and Jimmy; and his sister-in-law Shelley West (Dian Webb) of Shiloh.

Memorials are suggested to Darts for Kids and will be accepted at the funeral home.
