He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elmo Davis and Norma Davis (Jordan); his wife Carol Steed; his daughter Christina Niethe (Gene) of East Alton; his grandchildren, Cameron Niethe (Megan), Kiersten Niethe, Kayla Niethe and Colton Niethe; his great grandchildren, Avery Niethe, Jace Shaffar, Cayden Niethe and Noah Niethe; and his siblings, Glenn Davis of Alton, Frank Davis of East Alton and Glenda Corrigan of Wood River.
