She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Rye and Ambrosia Rachel Rye (Tilley); her husband Jay L. Miller, Sr.; her siblings, Jack Rye, Frank "Butch" Rye and Virginia Mitchell; and her son-in-law Mark Little.
She is survived by: her children, Jay, Jr. Miller (Cindy) of Wood River, Jeff Miller (Stacie) of Godfrey, Darla Abert (Paul) of Edwardsville and Denise Little of East Alton; her grandchildren, Lindsay Wessel (Brett), Lauren Lane (Cohl), Morgan Yates (Nick), Jason Miller, Katie Miller, Nathan Abert (Paige) and Mallory Abert; her great grandchildren, Jocelyn Tiller, Tinley Wessel, Liam Lane, Reagan Abert, Brooks Abert and Harper Yates; her sister Nancy Tierney (Bill) of Wood River; her sister-in-law Elaine Rye of Wood River; and her daughter-in-law Diane Miller of Wood River.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Marks Mortuary (633 E Lorena Ave, Wood River, IL 62095). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
