We are sad to announce that on October 17, 2021, at the age of 89, Darlene Faye Allen (Wood River, Illinois), born in Jerseyville, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vesto Shaw and Viola Shaw (Hawkins); her former husband Hal Dean Hart; her husband George W. Allen; her children, Paul Hart, Gale Allen and Pam Allen; and her siblings, Homer, Roscoe, Bill, Kenny, Floyd Shaw, Phyllis Harrington and Loretta Price.
She is survived by: her sons, Shawn Hart of Cottage Hills and Darrell Hart of Jerseyville; her stepsons, Mark Allen of East Alton and Jeff Allen of Pittsfield; her daughter Karen Miller; and her siblings, David Shaw of Brighton and Helen Reese. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the family in care of expenses.
