It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alberta J. Williams (Wood River, Illinois), born in Alton, Illinois, who passed away on October 1, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Schott and Susie Schott (Ducommon); her husband Marshall L. Williams; her son Leslie Williams; her grandson Craig Burke; and her sisters, Dixie and Nadine.
She is survived by: her children, Becky Johnson of Jacksonville, Debbie (Tom Burke), Lisa Williams of Bethalto, Shelly (Jeff Waters), Leonard Williams of Wood River and Orville "Boogie" (Linda Williams); and her daughter-in-law Kay Williams of Wood River. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, one great - great granddaughter, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer's Association and will be accepted at the funeral home.
