He was predeceased by: his wife Julie Short; his brother Doug Short; his daughter Nancy Borre; and his grandson Chris Kozem. He is survived by: his sister Jean Faust; his children, Bill Short, Jay Short (Sue) and Ginny Dybicz (Mark); and his grandchildren, Luke (Stephanie), Geoff and Cal.
Visitation was held on Saturday, June 8th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Grove Memorial Chapel (1199 S Arlington Heights Rd, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007).
