He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Barbara Jean Thompson; his son Thomas Kenneth II Thompson (Theresa); his grandsons, Matthew, Tom and Jack; his parents, Thomas Thompson and Jeanette Thompson; and his siblings, Jeaneen Schlie (late Chuck), Edison Blake (Bonnie), Faith Liedberg (Mike), Donna Coons (Doug) and Darryl Thompson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be appreciated to Zion Lutheran Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
