It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Bennett of Wood Dale, Illinois, who passed away on April 4, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Railsback and Dorothy Railsback; her daughter-in-law Diane; and her close friend Eleanor. She is survived by: her children, Paul and Susan; her grandchildren, Michelle Koenig, Andrew Simpson (Sandy) and Elizabeth Simpson; her great grandchildren, Alexandra Bowman, Elaine Koenig and Olivia Roman; and her brothers, Wayne Railsback (Esther) and Paul Railsback (Janice). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and many other friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Geils Funeral Home (260 W Irving Park Rd, Wood Dale, IL 60191). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Geils Funeral Home (260 E Irving Park Rd, Wood Dale, IL 60191).
