She was predeceased by: her husband John E. Gilbert; and her children, Jenny Reid and Ronald Gilbert. She is survived by: her children, Rose Lyons (Dave Tow), Thomas Gilbert (Susan), Katherine Pynakker (John), John Gilbert (Germaine), Richard Gilbert (Janet), Jeffrey Gilbert (Jodi) and Lorelei Nelson (Matthew). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, and 27 great grandchildren.
