He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Christine; his brothers, Jacob Rio (Judith), Joseph Rio and Robert Rio (Joanne); his siblings-in-law, Vita Taviani, Jean Nelson (Robert), Jeanette Rio and Sam Scaccia; and his brother Anthony Rio. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
