We are sad to announce that on April 26, 2023, at the age of 85, Ronald J. Gohl of Wonder Lake, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Gohl and Louise Gohl (Frank); his siblings, Marian and Carl; his wife Trudie Gohl; his children, Cindy, Curt, David, Christopher, Richard, Sean and Michelle; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Scott, Kathleen, Emily, Trevor, Andrew, Benjamin, Vanessa, Krista and Justin; and his great grandchildren, Faye, Penny, Elisa Mae, Randy, Ryland, Kora, Alivia, Klaira, Remy, Fynn and Destiny.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting any donations be sent in Sean Gohl's name, #6193-A, to Misericordia Home, 6300 N Ridge Ave, Chicago, IL 60660.

“As lousy as this is, I feel worse that I can't be with you all. Although you might prefer this message, since I would have been tempted to bring a bouquet of weeds. YEARS ago, when I was very pregnant w/Brent the Ghol family stopped at our Indiana house on theirvacation. I knew I had to 'weed' the garden, cuz Ron would see it. I weeded, and weeded was proud of my garden. The first morning of the family's stay I wondered where Ron was & found Ron WEEDING my garden! He sure loved weeds.”
