He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick Caprio and Helen Caprio (Gogliotti). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hanssen; his daughter DeAnn Blascoe (Kurt); his grandchildren, Veronica Blascoe and Nick Blascoe; and his siblings, Michael Caprio (MaryLou), Ronald Caprio (Georgie) and MaryAnn Wiszowaty (Bob). He is also survived by aunts; several sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law; many nieces, nephews, and friends; and many, many cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the James A. O'Connor Funeral Home (11603 Main St, Huntley, IL 60142). A prayer was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 6:45 PM at the same location.
