Barry Richard O'Sullivan Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barry Richard O'Sullivan (Wonder Lake, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on November 9, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends.

He worked as an auto mechanic for a Chevrolet dealer; later he was self-employed, specializing in preparing and detailing engines for auto racing. He enjoyed car racing, loved his sons, brothers, family and animals.

He is survived by his loving sons, David (Amy), Mark (Kiera), Steven (Becca); his grandchildren, Skylar, Hailey, Kenzie, and Jace; his brothers, Terry and Frank. Barry was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Dolores and his brother, Brian.

Though Barry has departed this earthly realm, their legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May their spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
