He is survived by: his sons, Paul Kless (Marie) and Anton Kless (Josalene); his grandchildren, Christine Parmley (Jared), Jill Bays (Chris), Madlie Kless, Nicole Kless and Colleen Altenbernd (Gabe); his great grandchildren, Sarah Parmley, Samantha Parmley, Brody Bays, Brandon Bays, Beckett Bays and Aubrey Wilson; his siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Schmidtecker, Gertrud Rittner and Andreas Rittner; his nieces, Mary, Elizabeth, Ellie, Monika and Christine; his nephew Arnold; and his significant other Marianne Schmidtecker.
