He was predeceased by: his parents, JT Lowe and Kathleen Lowe (Hopley); and his brothers, Mike, Jack and Phil Lowe.

He is survived by: his spouse Billie Briggs; his children, Shelby Thacker of Maryville, IL. and Blake Thacker of Raymond, IL.; and his sister Dawn Young (Brad) of Hillsboro.
