He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Elmer Hilt and Dolores Haas Hilt; and his son Michael Hilt. He is survived by: his children, David Hilt of Witt, Jeff Hilt (Kim) of Litchfield, Kayla Manis (Matt) of Nokomis, Nick Hilt of Hillsboro and Mary Hilt of Springfield; and his sister Karen Umberger (Micky) of Metropolis, IL.. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
