It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorraine Mae McDowell of Winthrop Harbor, Illinois, born in Waukegan, Illinois, who passed away on August 11, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Philip Perington; her husband Jack McDowell; and her brothers, Neil Perington and Lamont Lee Perington. She is survived by: her children, Lynette Henriksen (Henry) of Kenosha, WI and Dennis McDowell of Crystal Lake, IL; and her grandsons, Jeff Ambrose (Kim), Gary McDowell (Mandy) and Andrew McDowell (Sam). She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren & many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers a donation be made to the Aurora Home & Hospice Care.
