He was predeceased by: his wife Wanda; his parents, Charles Eschenbauch and Agnes Eschenbauch; his siblings, Ralph Eschenbauch (Ester), Donald Eschenbauch (Vera), Tim Eschenbauch (Barb), Doris Foster (Lou) and Kay Lewis; and his son-in-law Donald Pocklington.

He is survived by: his children, Karen Richardson (Rolland) of Grayslake, IL, Gregory Eschenbauch (Karen) of Clovis, NM, Dianna Savage (Andy) of Alpharetta, GA, Brian Eschenbauch and Cindy Pocklington; his brother James Eschenbauch (Judy) of White Lake, WI; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Smith of Lake Villa, IL and Doug Lewis. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren.
