He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Crane and Lucille Crane; and his brother-in-law Bill Thiele. He is survived by: his wife Barbi Crane; his children, Tammy Rutherford (Ty), Ashley Malatesta (Anthony) and Brandon Crane; his grandchildren, Dustin Lupo, Adryan Malatesta, Caleb Malatesta and Anthony Malatesta; his great grandchild Mordecai Malatesta; and his siblings, Carol Thiele, Charles Crane (Regina), Kathy Denyko (Michael), Bonny Murray (Walter), Mary Ross (Kim) and Joseph Crane. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Congdon & Co Funeral Directors (3012 Sheridan Rd, Zion, IL 60099). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at the Warren Cemetery (1475 N Cemetery Rd, Gurnee, IL 60031).
