She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Hakala Jr and Sophie Hakala. She is survived by: her sister Joanne Sherr (Jeffrey); her close friends, Janice Sabin, James, Angela Seveska and Vilma Seveska; her nephews, Zachary and Daniel; her niece Alyssa; and her great-nieces, Thea and Ella.
