It is with great sadness that we announce the death of June Russell of Winthrop Harbor, Illinois, who passed away on December 3, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Powell and Velma Powell; and her sisters, Nell Johnson and Faye Mares. She is survived by: her husband Eugene Russell; her daughters, Terri Gray (Danny), Lisa Johnson (Dave) and Rhonda Falotico; her grandchildren, Craig Mills, Kyle Mills (Lindy), Morgan Eastscott (Steve), Megan Mazurek (Dan), Matthew Johnson, Tyler Falotico, Sydney Johnson, Alexia Johnson, Alyssa Russell and Gianna Falotico; her great grandchildren, Lincoln Mills, Addison Mills, Eli Mills and Eddie Mills; her siblings, Helen Qualls and Eddie Powell; and her brothers-in-law, Dean Russell and Dwayne Russell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Congdon & Co Funeral Directors (3012 Sheridan Rd, Zion, IL 60099). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
