She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Mink and Ida Mink; her husband Bud Stephens; and her siblings, Onice White of Mantanchie, MS, Orice Daily of Winthrop Harbor, IL, Arlis Mink of Golden, MS, George T. Mink of Golden, MS and Charles Mink of Zion, IL..
She is survived by: her sons, Timothy Stephens of Fulton, MS and James "Ed" Stephens of Winthrop Harbor, IL; her grandchildren, Farah Stephens, Misty Stephens, Jimmy Stephens, Mike Jones and Brian Jones; and her sister Vernel Johnson of Golden, MS. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
