With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harvey J. Swaggerty of Winthrop Harbor, Illinois, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on December 13, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul and Mary; and his sister Sandy. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Swaggerty; his children, Harvey James Swaggerty Jr., Kirk Brian Swaggerty, Chad Dustin Swaggerty and Tammy Lynn Gabardi; his grandchildren, Amber, Jimmy, Sarah, Adam, Chad, David, Nick and Brittany; his siblings, Marilyn, Rod and Michael; his stepsisters, Karen, Bonnie and Sandy; and his half-brother Michael. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Congdon & Co Funeral Directors (3012 Sheridan Rd, Zion, IL 60099). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
