We are sad to announce that on August 21, 2023, at the age of 87, Donald Tjader Sr. of Winthrop Harbor, Illinois, born in Harvey, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Tjader and Jennie Tjader (Noxon); his wife Violet (Falk); his siblings, Dorothy Stofferahn (Norm), Warren Tjader, Richard Tjader (Bette) and Jean Johnson (Robert); his brother-in-law Lyle Wilson; his nephew Tim Johnson; and his great-nephew Trent Yecoshenko.
He is survived by: his close friends, Robert Walldan (Bobby), Donald and Kenton Marquiss; his children, Don Tjader Jr. (Jill), Connie Howard, Pat Tjader and Pamela Swedberg (Kandall); his grandchildren, Don Tjader III (Jiying), Jennifer Kim, Deanna DeCavitch (Joe), Courtney Saffran (Andy), Ashley Howard, Kyle Howard (Kim Newcomb), David Swedberg, Aaron Swedberg and Mikala Swedberg; his great grandchildren, Audrina (Tim), Jacinda, Zoe, Shaelei, Lukas, Lennix, Ruth, Don, Wesson, Colton, Paszo and Haven; his great great grandchild Leo; his siblings, Janet Wilson and David Tjader; and his sister-in-law Ingrid Tjader. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
