With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brian Roy Pumala of Winthrop Harbor, Illinois, who passed away on August 20, 2022 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roy Pumala and Marlone Pumala (Mericle); his wife Joann (Schrader); his children, Kari Cowart (James Michael) and Brian "Skip" Pumala (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Kali Cowart (Angela), Reid and Laney Pumala; his siblings, Dale Pumala (Arlene) and Karen Pumala; his siblings-in-law, George Schrader (Carolyn), Tom Schrader (Lynda), Tim Schrader and Debbie Peters (Jim); and his friend Harry Beach (Denice). He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
The family is asking in lieu of flowers donations are made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Brian's name.
