He was predeceased by: his parent Blondie; and his stepmother Jessie. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Babb of Winslow; his sons, Michael Jackson (Stephanie) of Orangeville, Thomas Jackson of Monroe and Brian Jackson of Monroe; his grandchildren, Jamie Jackson of West Virginia, J. R. Jackson (Elizabeth) of West Virginia, Sabrina Adams (David) of Beloit, WI, Skylar Jackson of Orangeville and Trinity Jackson of Monroe, WI; his great grandchildren, Tristen Terrell (Nicole) of West Virginia, Kyara Jackson of West Virginia, Jacob Jackson of West Virginia and Sophia Jackson of West Virginia; and his sisters, Liz and Mary. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.

A memorial has been established in his memory.
