We bid farewell to Mary Ellen Stalzer (Winnetka, Illinois), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 9, 2025 at the age of 87. Mary Ellen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Cahill and Ellen Cahill; and her brothers, Jim and Richard. She is survived by: her brother Robert Cahill; her husband Dick Stalzer; her children, Rich, Brian (Tracy) and Julie (Ricardo); and her grandchildren, Sofia, Brian, Matthew, Nicolas, Amelia, Lily, Eleanor and Henry. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saints Faith, Hope & Charity Church (191 Linden St, Winnetka, IL 60093). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Mary's memory to: The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
