He is survived by: his wife Ann Mommsen; his children, Margaret Kempff, Chris Mommsen (Robbin) and Quinn Mommsen (Anna); his grandchildren, Jack, Brendan, Katie Kempff, Luke Egly, Amelin, Wyatt Mommsen, Julia and Nathan Mommsen; and his brother Bruce Mommsen (Emily).
