He was predeceased by: his former wife Eleanor N. DeVries; and his sister Barbara Muth. He is survived by: his children, Sara Walker (George), James N. DeVries (Ann), Peter DeVries, Adam DeVries (Ruth) and Mary Caffrey (Michael); and his wife Margaret Barrett. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.
