We are sad to announce that on July 8, 2021, at the age of 80, Elmer Gene Greable of Winnetka, Illinois, born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Francis and Artie Jane Greable; his wife Marilynn; and his brother Mark Gene Greable. He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Greable Mackey (Scott Mackey); and his grandchildren, Jaxson Scott, Brooke Taylor and Maxwell Greable.

“Jennifer and family. I am so sorry for your loss. I am a first cousin of Gene’s. I had a dream about him the other night. I just looked him up tonight and read his obituary. I would have been there had I known. I always looked up to him and his many achievements. My mother was Helen and she was Artie’s sister. His mother was so proud of him! I wish we would have remained in touch. May your heart and soul find peace and comfort.”
