It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dean Hopkins Goossen (Winnetka, Illinois), born in Brewster, New York, who passed away on December 17, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Kelly Sheppard; his children, Elisabeth Kalnow (Chip) and Nicholas Goossen (Dominique Brunelle); his granddaughter Christine Jane Kalnow; his siblings, Chloe Morris (John) and Reed Goossen (Kathy Kindness); his niece Jenny Goossen (Chris Rossi); his great-nephews, Oliver and Sebastian Rossi; his great-niece Cora; his nephew Daniel Goossen (Amanda); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Charlie and Caleb Goossen (Katie); and also, Isabelle Goossen, Eloise and Enid Goossen.
A COVID Christmas miracle allowed his daughter, Elisabeth, son, Nicholas and former wife, Isabelle, to say their goodbye's Wednesday evening.
Funeral Mass will be livestreamed, Tuesday December 22, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Saints Faith, Hope & Charity Church.
