He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Edgar and Ruth Griswold (Clark); his children, Dawn Collins (Michael) and Dan Griswold (Staci); his granddaughters, Samantha Griswold and D'elaine Bejgier; his great grandchild Gatlin Griswold; his sister Viola Garver; his wife Shirley Griswold; and his brother Edward Griswold. He was also cherished by several nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established for the Winnebago Public Library.
