We are sad to announce that on May 17, 2023, at the age of 83, Sandra Lee Maavich of Winnebago, Illinois, born in Waterloo, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Howard Robert and Urith Cole Scribner (Catherine); her husband Jim Maavich of Winnebago; her children, Jim Maavich of Sumner, IA and Wendy Maavich (Alex Gonzales) of Durand; her grandsons, Matt Maavich, Mark Maavich and Luke Maavich; and her brothers, Jim Scribner (Sandy) of Evansdale, IA, Frankie Scribner and Billy Scribner. She was also cherished by several nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established for the Winnebago United Methodist Church.
