He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert T. Niblo and Hazel Niblo (Neuschwander); his sisters, Joyce Virtue, Pauline Hyle (Vernon) and Lorraine Terhark (Elmer); his parents-in-law, Donald and Delores Hellum; and his sister-in-law Diane Kirby.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Hellum; his children, Michelle Stubbe (Tad), Melanie Tack and Michael; his grandchildren, Hope Dobson (Dan), Landon Baumgartner (Jamie Acasio), Jared Stubbe, Aidan, Jacob, Jordan and Leah Tack; and his great grandchildren, Sebastian, Caius, Augustine, Avila and Philomena Dobson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and multiple great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in his name for the Freeport First United Methodist Church and the Pearl City Lions Club.
