It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Rose Mitchell (Winnebago, Illinois), who passed away on September 28, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Roy Rick, Bobby Mrazek, Rosemary Mchaula, Luke Kasten and Janet Dumroese; her aunt Harriet Crull; and her foster son Les Wilson.
She is survived by: her husband Jim; her children, Teresa Mitchell, Diana Seitz (John) and Tim Mitchell (Lisa); her grandchildren, Andy Smallwood (Kelly), Amanda Francis (Wally), Taylor Seitz, Steven Mitchell and Julia Mitchell; her great grandchildren, Jordyn, Reily, Jude, Grant, Kamil, Adrian, Sasha and Maxsym; her siblings, Ruth Morthland and Bill Klinke (Norma); her sisters-in-law, Janet Schafer (Tim), Judy Mitchell and Shirley Lewis; and her cousin Sharon Ruthe. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established at First Presbyterian Church of Winnebago for the Work Camp Group.
