He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Ascher and Dorothy Ascher (Gasmund); his brothers, Vernon L., James A. and Eugene E. Ascher; his nephews, James "Andy" Ascher and Tabbe Ascher Stevens; his sister-in-law Ann Leden Ascher Stevens; and his stepfather Raymond Asche.

He is survived by: his brother Ken Asche of Winnebago; and his sisters-in-law, Lois Ascher and Julie Ascher. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
