She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Roe Wilson and Fern Wilson (Lace); her children, Laura Patyk (Ray) of Kingman, AZ and Jeff Kersten (Cheryl) of Winnebago; her grandchildren, Brad Patyk of Coronado, CA, Zach Starnes (Maria) of Poplar Grove, Cortney Starnes of Gallatin, TN and Ashley Kersten of Winnebago; her great grandchildren, Noah Starnes of Poplar Grove, Emma and Genesis Moreno of Poplar Grove; her husband Willis Kersten; and her brother Richard Wilson (Janet) of Bloomington. She was also cherished by several nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers memorials will be established for the Rockford Rescue Mission and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
