Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Linda Smith of Winnebago, Illinois, born in Rockford, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 74, on December 30, 2020. She was predeceased by: her mother Betty "Jane" Laymon; and her daughter Renée Lynn Spray. She is survived by: her father Willis Laymon; her husband Roger Smith; her brother Daniel Laymon (Karen); her children, Carl Spray (Kathy), Denise Nelson (Phil) and Dawn Spray; her stepdaughters, Mary Domino, Polly Smith, Lisa Smith and Dawn Richardson (Ron); her niece Krista Rogulic (Matt); and her grandchildren, Tyler Nelson (Gillie), Austin Nelson, Ryan Kramlik, Renée Kramlik (Vidal), Cody, James Hooper, Jeremy Cole, Michael Spray, Lee Anderson (Heather), Jason Domino (Janée), Eric Domino, Brad Richardson (Mari-Beth) and Darren Richardson (Liz). She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; and so many wonderful friends.
Masks and social distancing are required.
In lieu of flowers, a trust account has been set up in Linda Smith's name at 1st National Bank, 500 N. Elida St., Winnebago, IL 61088. Contributions will go towards a memorial bench at one of her favorite golf courses.
