She was predeceased by: her parents, John McElmeel and Lucille McElmeel (Featherston); her siblings, Richard and Barbara Jean; her nephew Dylan; and her siblings-in-law, Peggy and Joe.
She is survived by: her daughter Rhonda Book (Jon) of Byron; her granddaughters, Brittney Book of Madison, WI and Rachel Lorden (Riley) of Beloit, WI; her great grandchild Kane Elwood-James Lorden; and her siblings, Janet Buchanan of Rockford, Patrick McElmeel of Nebraska, Mike McElmeel of Winnebago, Colleen Miranda of Machesney Park, Sheila Lawson (Mark) of Ridott and Cindy Kopp (Kim) of Ridott. She is also survived by her daughter, Rhonda (Jon) Book of Byron; granddaughters.
