It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joyce Seyler of Winnebago, Illinois, born in Mendota, Illinois, who passed away on April 23, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Edward and Mattie May Straley (Stauffer); her husband Chuck Seyler; her siblings, Earl Straley, Dale Straley, Vernon Straley, Wilda Johnson and Lois Myers; her nephews, Steve Straley, Randy Myers and Gary Straley; and her close friend Wanda Foster.
She is survived by: her son Gregg Seyler (Deb) of Rockford; her sisters-in-law, Alta Straley of Winnebago and Janice Seyler of Winnebago; and her close friends, Cheri and Bob Gilmour. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers memorials will be established for the Winnebago Community Historical Society and the Winnebago Public Library.
