James R. Herbert Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 20, 2021, at the age of 98, James R. Herbert of Winnebago, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James R. Herbert to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Arvid and Edna Elin Herbert (Blomberg); his wives, Elaine Herbert (Knott) and Mable Herbert (Maring); his grandson Dylan James Van Cura; and his siblings, Howard Herbert and Marie Herbert.
He is survived by: his daughters, Janet Verhaar (John), Wendy McElmeel (Mike) and Jeri Mothkovich (David); and his grandsons, Shane McElmeel and Christian Mothkovich. He is also survived by niece and nephews.
In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established for the Winnebago Community Historical Society.
